Situation / complication

The business was running on AX 2012 R2 instance which was out of support. This was costing the business GBP 500.000 per year in enhanced cybersecurity insurance.This was the main case for change and a decision to move to a new platform 

What we did

We deployed a proven implementation methodology with stages around mobilisation, analysis, design, build/configure, test & deploy, go-live and hypercare.The program is currently going through UAT. We are currently deploying into the US, UK, Germany and Italy markets. 

Results of our work

We deployed Dynamics out-of-the-box as much as possible, leading to process simplification, standardisation, reduction of manual processes and customisations. As a result, the upgrades will be a lot simpler in the future. The simplified processes will lead to a more efficiency and productivity within the finance teams.

The item master was standardised to use item dimensions. This then enabled intercompany trading. which was inhibited before. EX-Flow was implemented to increase operational efficiencies.
