Situation / complication

Pinewood Film studios is a company that provides production services to the film and television industry.The incumbent service provider could not meet their requirements, so they were not able to meet the “ready to test” milestone to start UAT.

What we did

We evaluated the documented requirements, the end-to-end process mapping and the system configuration, specifically looking at traceability. Resulting in a system review document with recommendations to improve the design & implementation. Updated the ADO requirements and user stories, reconfigured the system to meet the updated requirements, implemented a repeatable data migration process, created training materials, delivered the training and UAT.Deployed the system into 7 countries: UK, US, Canada, Ireland, Germany and Dominican Republic and 20+ legal entities.Recommended and subsequently implemented EX-Flow as an ISV to automated AP business processes.

Results of our work

After our intervention the program delivery accelerated significantly. As a result the program was delivered to the required go-live date and within the specified budget.The configuration and process design that was delivered catered to all complex business requirements with which the previous partner struggled so much.The CEO and CIO expressed their satisfaction with the fact that the program was recovered after an initial concern of failure.The automation of AP processes led to a significant reduction of headcount in AP. In a subsequent phase 2 of the program we delivered the project module in Dynamics. This enabled Dynamics to support their construction type project business processes.After go-live the support service requirements were outsourced to Vannda.
